Anybody seen this? i'm going to give my take on this.
1) sense of humor is important i agree...but honestly...there's a fine line between a sense of humor and immaturity. I like a guy who can make me laugh i can make laugh...but i respect him more when he understands when i need him to be serious.
2) Trustworthy
this DOES take a long time to build. This is why i prefer to be friends with guys first and i'm always proven just how untrustworthy they are. Not ALL mind you...just the ones i thought were good! it's best to wait for the trust to build...and if at a certain point it doesn't build...then clearly dating isn't a option.
3) Kindness
This is admirable...but to a point...some guys can be TOO kind and it gets annoying or suspicious. I LIKE when im asked what's wrong when i come in depressed. But if i'm asked what's wrong when i'm angry it PISSES me off. Stay the FUCK out of my way when i'm angry.
No i'm not being bitchy. if you are irritable like me...and rant to yourself about WHY you are angry..HOW FUCKING ASININE IS IT FOR A PERSON TO ASK YOU WHY YOU ARE ANGRY!!?! CAN'T YOU HEAR ME BITCHING?...honestly...don't ask me what's wrong...just stay out of my way when i'm angry. I'm angry because i'm angry talking about my FEELINGS won't make me any less annoyed.
Crue
I know what you are saying about people not asking what's wrong when you are pissed. I need my space at that point in time and am perfectly capable of sorting my problems out myself. But some fucking people don't get it, and when I tell them to cut it out they complain "Hey, don't get all pissed with me for trying to help" well what the hell did you expect me to do? instantly become the calmest and most non-pissed person on the plan simply because you asked me that question, like it should smomehow help? No, just leave me be until I feel better.
From a male standpoint, sense of humor should definitely be a quality women look for but no way does it belong on the top of the list.
Now trust is huge. It should be for both parties. I've been cheated on a couple of times, and when they deny it or lie or something I end everything on the spot. I would give them a chance to explain their actions but they act like I'm a total moron. If you can't trust someone you should not be in a relationship with them.
Yeah the kindness thing, I don't see why girls around here like assholes. Show one bit of kindness and you're out. I say screw that. I don't see the point of a relationship if someone is treated like shit. Sure I can see people who are too kind getting on your nerves but not everyone with a heart is like that. Most of us have a fair balance.
By the way I love that positive attitude quote. Genius. Oh and a belated happy birthday to you. I wanted to say something but I've been working every day for a week. Minus two days ago, but I may as well have been because of all the stuff I had to take care of. Plus the roads were icy so everyone was going 2 mph everywhere.
