well that's a sad way to look at things. Love isn't supposed to be BINDING, it's supposed to be about not being able to imagine life without that person.
Kinda like finding a new food topping XD once i had jelly on my creamcheese, i never wanted just plain creamcheese again. Creamcheese seemed dul and tastless. That's kinda like love! life before the person you loved seemed so empty compared to what you have when you gain love. The important thing is not getting too attached to the jelly ^^ it will soon run out. Then you gotta either get a new jar of the same brand, try new jelly, or just go back to plain creamcheese XD I'm HUNGRY!
Married couples don't feel the way they do as when they first met, but that doesn't mean they are falling out of love. They are just realizing that the other isnt PERFECT, and soon they learn how to live with eachothers faults.That's real love. Lol i see it first hand with my parents.
Love sometimes is hidden. Yes our familes piss us all off but love is still there and will be there forever. Love IS binding in the sense that we can never truly let the affection for that person go. The important thing is to remind yourself why you love that person, and what you would do for them.

lol falling in love as a teen isn't uncommon. But that doesn't mean it's right. It's like 1 in 50 chance that you find the right person at a young age that you will stay with forever, and if you do, then either you aren't that complicated of a person, or your standards can be easily matched.
Chances are my luck will be the same as my dads. He got his first date at age 20 XD which wasn't considered strange back in his day. I don't know if it was because no one liked him or if he was just picky like me, none the less i'm sure he enjoyed himself more than the people who just date, to date.
I tip my hat to you. Not a lot of people are able to actually look at people and relationships the way you do. Its a good thing, and it makes you wiser much faster.

you shouldn't put yourself down. Looks have nothing to do with finding the right person or even just dating. It's always about charm. Ever notice how popular people are usually not all THAT gorgeous, or there's one fat person or ugo in a group of popular pretty people? that person got there with charm.
A little charm takes you a long way, it's a gift rather than a art. You'll find someone. Unless you have some kind of weird social issues,It maybe harder but you will definately find someone.
