well being unsocial is certainly not hereditary in the idea that it is genetic

it is directly hereditary in that you inherit your social everything from your parents

I also connect very little with my generation as well

I consider my generation to be shallow, high maintenance and generally lackadaisical

I completely agree, don't change yourself to fit a hedonistic and self destructive society

there is nothing wrong with you, its our environment that is the problem

I do like clubs though (HOUSE MUSIC FOREVER!)

You are strong, you don't need the constant reassurance from others to confirm that you are popular.

Don't regret this, you are tough minded and people like you will survive whatever life throws at you.

Just find a group of people who share your interests and you will gradually realise which of them can be called true friends and which of them are mere aqauaintances.
