Manga has too much detail for me. I prefer the simplier drawings. I'm not a great artist like you!
lol what? i love detail! it's all that matters to me. i like comics detail but manga has fantastic head turns and shading that comics don't normally have.
I meant they have too much detail and therefore I can't really draw them that well. I tried once before, but it didn't look anything like the actual drawing did.
try getting a how to draw book. I don't really like copying someone elses character i make my own.

I don't really read comics either, but I love to look at the drawings and I always try to redraw them as best as I can. Sometimes they come out pretty good. Others...Not so much.

:( ya comics are a bitch to draw. i like mangas a lot more. funny thing is i just started drawing anime this year. it's not really the style i started or even do best in. it's just a lot easier and more fun.
